This onset by those insects that transmitted was transmitted through flies and fleas spread through the bite or sting of infected insects, there were three outbreaks
Bubonic plague is an infection in the lymphatic system caused by the bite of an infected flea, Xenopsylla cheopis (the rat flea). The flea is a parasite in house and field rats, looking for another prey when the rodent it lives in dies. The bacteria are located in the digestive system of infected fleas in such a way that when the flea bites, it regurgitates the intestinal contents, which infects the point of the bite. In this way the bacteria cross the skin and reach the lymph nodes, where they can resist phagocytosis and even reproduce within the phagocytes and kill them. As the disease progresses, the lymph nodes swell. Bubonic plague can spread to the blood and spread (septicemic plague) or reach the lung and cause pneumonic plague.
